Plinky - A Web 2.0 service akin to !blogkitten's QOTD

As though I'm not spread thinly enough across the InterWebs, I recently joined Plinky - http://www.plinky.com/people/cool.

From their site: "Plinky makes it easy for you to create inspired content. Every day we provide a prompt (i.e. a question or challenge) and you answer. We make it simple to add rich media and share your answers on Facebook, Twitter and blogs."

It's really as though someone has built a whole service around !blogkitten's Question of the Day. Each day there is a new question you can answer. When you answer the question it will show up on your page with all of your other answers. And you can also browse through the questions to see everyone else's answer.

It's kind of a fun little service in that it helps jumpstart your brain if you don't know what to post. And now that I've had a chance to answer a few questions I've noticed it gives you a very different perspective on things in that the questions may show sides of a personality that don't come out in other arenas. It's sort of intriguing.

You can also feed your answers to Twitter or Facebook (which I've not done) or import your answer feed somewhere else of your choosing. I added mine to my FriendFeed account. I'm already pulling my FriendFeed into http://pownce2.ning.com/profile/HeidiCool so my answers will appear here too.

With just one question to answer per day it's not a big time waster. Kinda fun.

Cool. I just friended you there. Nice answer on the adult thing. The questions seem to vary in difficulty. You can also go to "Prompts" and answer past questions if you wish.

I see you mentioned the mortal coil - nice to see a reference to something transcendent - I felt my feathers ruffle at the 'adult' question but gave it something of a try. Hope they ask something less taxing next time around, like which ice cream I prefer. Thanks for posting Heidi. I now have just what you mentioned - something to set my day off in a slightly different direction that if just under my own horsepower.
