It's Christmas faux-eve here at chez Dawson. We learned a while ago that if we celebrate a day early it makes having to travel on Christmas day a lot easier.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the idea of bacon powder. Sounds addictive.

At Chez Cool tonight we will be having:

Roast Beast (Rib Roast 3 ribs)
Roast tubers (mostly potatos plus one sweet potato, some carrots and a parsnip)
Yorkshire Pudding
Crawfish Etouffee
Apple Pie

It's become my traditional Xmas thing. Naturally my German forebears weren't making crawfish, but it works surprisingly well with Yorkshire pudding and helps to keep the non-carnivorous guests from getting too tipsy on the wine.
