Welcome to Pownce Refugees

Wondering where to start? What would you have posted to Pownce? An amusing anecdote? A music video? An LOL cat? Well you can do the same thing here. Just start a new blog post and write whatever you want, embed a video, include a Flickr photo, share a link, etc. Then we'll respond in kind just like we did on Pownce. Wanna communicate in real time, try chat! Also check out the groups for popular theme days such as Wordle Wednesday and Foto Friday!

New Improved Chat

Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not digging the new improved chat feature. I liked the way we had it before where it just showed up on every page and you could go to it's own page if you wished. The pop up box is unruly and forgettable. Rather like the new "more" feature on Twitter that replaces "older" making it harder to backtrack through Tweets.

Life Changes Art

While I am still doing a lot of photography work, and selling some stuff, I am not currently pursuing a career in photography. I love doing the work, and I love the learning process. But, so much of the business side of the art actually turns my stomach, and I keep asking myself what the point of it all is. I took up photography because it was something that I could do for my own enjoyment. That is what I have returned to doing. Having to all but give it away to be able to claim… Continue

Are users right in rejecting security advice?

Should you change your passwords often? What’s the risk if you don’t? Little did I know, listening to one podcast would cause me to rethink how I

would answer those questions.
